The Wolf Family

Hello! We are the Wolf family serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Kona, Hawai’i. Our mission is to bring Christ’s healing and hope to the world through worship and medicine. We do this through teaching, equipping and serving individuals and families in the schools of healthcare ministries, and the School of Worship at YWAM’s University of Nations.

A little bit about us:

Hello! I’m Adam and I am married to the cute brunette in the picture above. I’m a born and raised Michigander, where the summers are hot and humid and the winters are cold and snowy. Most recently my family and I called Southern Idaho home where winters are more mild and where we’ve enjoy huckleberry picking in the summer.

Ever since I was young, you couldn’t keep me quiet. Singing, playing instruments and joining worship at church.

This passion grew until I decided to pursue a worship degree in college. Danae and I met there, and the rest is history!

I’ve served in multiple worship roles, teaching worship at Grace Christian University, leading worship in local churches and hosting several worship seminars on the mission field (Tanzania and Bolivia).

Most recently, as a worship minister at a multisite church in Boise, Idaho.

Having recently felt the call to join YWAM, it’s impossible to deny God’s hand in all of the experiences I’ve gathered, leading worship at a churches small and large, teaching worship in multiple modalities (missions, college and the local church), and learning to invest in God’s people through music, worship and leadership. We are so excited to partner with God in teaching and equipping others to share the gospel to the nations!

Hi There! My name is Danae and I’m married to that good looking musician. 🙂 We have a four-year-old daughter, Ilona, and as mentioned above, and we’re moving to Kona, Hawai’i to serve Jesus with YWAM.

I grew up as a missionary kid in Tanzania, East Africa. It was through that upbringing that God planted the seed of medical missions in my heart.

I pursued a degree in nursing and graduated in 2015 (LPN), 2018 (ADN-RN), and 2020 (BSN-RN). I pursued certification in Nurse Coaching and became a board certified nurse coach in 2024 (NC-BC).

I had the amazing opportunity to gain some invaluable hands-on experience working in the hospital setting after graduating. My favorite place to work in is peri-operative nursing!

I found a deep passion for teaching and have had the honor of working part-time/substituting at Boise State University as clinical adjunct faculty and tutoring nursing students throughout all stages of their nursing programs from entrance exams to licensure.

I share this story of my journey to and through nursing because, to me, it is a beautiful reminder of how God has perfectly prepared and positioned me to serve others and Him at UofN in Kona. Equipping, training, and reaching the nations for Jesus through healthcare ministries.
